Welcome to my book, "From Purpose to Practice: Rethinking the Purpose. I am Dr Vivian Atud, and over the years I have seen firsthand how important it is to have a clear purpose in life. But having a purpose is not enough. To truly live a purpose-driven life, you must practice it every day. I was born on a banana plantation and today I am a business leader, an entrepreneur, a thought leader, speaker, and author of many books. The reality that I was born into and my reality today are two separate worlds that could only have been made possible, through my personal vision, the practice of purpose and God’s blessings.

In this book, I will take you on a journey to rethink what it means to live a purpose-driven life. We will explore the power of revisiting your purpose, the importance of making purpose a daily habit, and how to align your life with your purpose. I will share with you some real-life examples of people who have successfully practiced a purpose-driven life, as well as biblical principles that will guide you on your journey.

So why is practicing a purpose-driven life so important? Let's start by looking at what the Bible says about purpose. In Proverbs 19:21, it says, "Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." This verse reminds us that our plans are not always in alignment with God's purpose for our lives. We must seek His guidance to ensure that our purpose is in line with His will.

Another verse that speaks to the importance of purpose is Ephesians 2:10, which says, "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." This verse reminds us that we were created for a specific purpose, and that purpose was prepared in advance by God.

So how do we practice a purpose-driven life? It starts by revisiting our purpose. Many of us have a purpose in mind, but we may not have thought about it in a while. Our purpose may have changed over time, or we may need to redefine it for today's world. By taking the time to revisit our purpose, we can ensure that it is still in line with God's will for our lives.

Once we have a clear purpose in mind, we must make it a daily habit. This means incorporating our purpose into all areas of our lives, from our work to our relationships. We must also align our lives with our purpose, making sure that our actions and decisions are in line with what we believe God has called us to do.

Throughout this book, I will share with you some real-life examples of people who have successfully practiced a purpose-driven life. You will hear stories of individuals who have overcome fear and doubt to live out their purpose, and how they have found purpose in difficult times. These stories will inspire and encourage you on your own journey.

In addition to real-life examples, I will also share biblical principles that will guide you on your journey. These principles will help you understand the importance of gratitude and joy, and how to live a purpose-driven life for the long haul.

As we begin this journey together, I encourage you to open your heart and mind to the possibilities that lie ahead. Whether you are just starting out on your journey or have been living a purpose-driven life for years, there is always more to learn and discover.
